O caso foi confirmado por exames laboratoriais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O morcego foi encontrado no <strong>bairro Veneza<\/strong>. A Prefeitura de Ipatinga informou que, desde o momento em que o animal foi avistado e capturado, <strong>n\u00e3o houve registro de ataques ou contato com pessoas ou animais dom\u00e9sticos<\/strong>, embora n\u00e3o seja poss\u00edvel afirmar com certeza que isso n\u00e3o tenha ocorrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A raiva \u00e9 uma doen\u00e7a <strong>grave e quase sempre fatal<\/strong>, tanto para humanos quanto para animais, mas <strong>100% preven\u00edvel por meio da vacina\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>. Morcegos, que s\u00e3o reservat\u00f3rios naturais do v\u00edrus, podem transmitir a doen\u00e7a por mordidas, arranh\u00f5es ou contato com a saliva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medidas de preven\u00e7\u00e3o e orienta\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evitar contato com morcegos ou outros animais silvestres;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manter a <strong>vacina\u00e7\u00e3o de c\u00e3es e gatos em dia<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00e3o manipular animais mortos ou feridos e, se necess\u00e1rio, acionar a <strong>vigil\u00e2ncia ambiental<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Procurar imediatamente um servi\u00e7o de sa\u00fade em caso de contato, mordida ou arranh\u00e3o de morcego, para avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>profilaxia p\u00f3s-exposi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade refor\u00e7a que, embora o caso seja isolado, a <strong>preven\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 essencial para proteger a popula\u00e7\u00e3o e os animais dom\u00e9sticos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade de Ipatinga confirmou, recentemente, um caso de raiva em morcego no munic\u00edpio, refor\u00e7ando a necessidade de aten\u00e7\u00e3o da popula\u00e7\u00e3o quanto \u00e0 preven\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a.
