O Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a de Minas Gerais (TJMG) acolheu recurso do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico de Minas Gerais (MPMG) e reconheceu a responsabilidade da Copasa por danos morais decorrentes de crimes sexuais praticados contra crian\u00e7as e adolescentes em Inhapim, por um ex-empregado da empresa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A decis\u00e3o foi tomada pela 5\u00aa C\u00e2mara C\u00edvel do TJMG. Em primeira inst\u00e2ncia, apenas o ex-funcion\u00e1rio havia sido condenado. O MPMG recorreu, argumentando que ele teria utilizado a fun\u00e7\u00e3o exercida, ve\u00edculos, depend\u00eancias e a credibilidade vinculada \u00e0 Copasa para se aproximar das v\u00edtimas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Segundo o Tribunal, ficou comprovado que os crimes ocorreram de forma reiterada e que houve rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre as oportunidades proporcionadas pelo trabalho e as condutas praticadas. O TJMG tamb\u00e9m considerou que o v\u00ednculo profissional teria sido utilizado para dificultar den\u00fancias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Com a decis\u00e3o, a Copasa passa a responder solidariamente com o ex-empregado pelas indeniza\u00e7\u00f5es. O valor, que inicialmente era de R$ 30 mil para cada v\u00edtima, foi aumentado para R$ 60 mil por v\u00edtima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ao todo, ser\u00e3o R$ 120 mil em indeniza\u00e7\u00f5es por danos morais para as duas v\u00edtimas. O MPMG havia solicitado R$ 100 mil para cada uma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O TJMG destacou tamb\u00e9m o car\u00e1ter pedag\u00f3gico da condena\u00e7\u00e3o, voltado a refor\u00e7ar o dever de vigil\u00e2ncia e a impedir que a estrutura destinada \u00e0 presta\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7o p\u00fablico seja utilizada para a pr\u00e1tica de atos contra pessoas vulner\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
