A Pol\u00edcia Federal (PF) e a Controladoria-Geral da Uni\u00e3o (CGU) deflagraram uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o nesta segunda-feira (30) em Belo Horizonte (MG) e S\u00e3o Paulo (SP), investigando um grupo suspeito de desviar mais de R$ 10 milh\u00f5es da Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte entre 2019 e 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O esquema teria sido liderado por um ex-servidor do Minist\u00e9rio do Esporte, envolvido com cinco entidades sem fins lucrativos, <\/a>sendo quatro em Belo Horizonte e uma em S\u00e3o Paulo. O nome das entidades e do ex-servidor n\u00e3o foi divulgado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es indicam que as contrata\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas por essas entidades, com recursos p\u00fablicos, eram direcionadas para prestadores de servi\u00e7os e fornecedores vinculados aos pr\u00f3prios dirigentes dessas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es, caracterizando desvio de verba. Parte dos recursos teria sido desviada atrav\u00e9s de empresas ligadas aos dirigentes ou intermedi\u00e1rios, al\u00e9m de ind\u00edcios de lavagem de dinheiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\u00e9 o momento, foram cumpridos 13 mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o, e a Justi\u00e7a Federal bloqueou quase R$ 180 milh\u00f5es em bens dos investigados. As entidades suspeitas tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o proibidas de realizar novos projetos esportivos. O objetivo da opera\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 responsabilizar os envolvidos e aprofundar as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte, criada em 2006, permite que pessoas e empresas destinem parte de seu Imposto de Renda para projetos esportivos e paradesportivos.
