Al\u00e9m disso, a Justi\u00e7a determinou que o respons\u00e1vel pela devasta\u00e7\u00e3o recupere a \u00e1rea degradada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do estado (MPMG) ajuizou a\u00e7\u00e3o civil p\u00fablica contra o fazendeiro, pleiteando indeniza\u00e7\u00e3o por danos coletivos pela interven\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1rea de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o permanente, sem autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do \u00f3rg\u00e3o ambiental competente, al\u00e9m da recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea degradada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo o MPMG, em 13 de mar\u00e7o de 2012, o propriet\u00e1rio rural suprimiu vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa. O im\u00f3vel rural n\u00e3o conta com \u00c1rea de Reserva Legal averbada no registro de im\u00f3veis, nem h\u00e1 not\u00edcia de seu registro no Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O homem sustentou que sempre deu um uso sustent\u00e1vel \u00e0 propriedade, \u201ctrabalhando a terra para prover a sua subsist\u00eancia e de sua fam\u00edlia, de forma a n\u00e3o prejudicar o meio ambiente\u201d. Ele alegou, ainda, que a \u00e1rea do im\u00f3vel atendia perfeitamente \u00e0s exig\u00eancias legais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em 1\u00aa Inst\u00e2ncia, a senten\u00e7a ordenou a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea degradada, mas negou o pedido do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico de indeniza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 coletividade pelos danos causados.
