O prefeito de Ipatinga, Gustavo Nunes, anunciou nesta quarta-feira que a Pol\u00edcia Municipal j\u00e1 est\u00e1 armada durante o patrulhamento nas ruas. Os agentes passaram por um curso de forma\u00e7\u00e3o em armamento e tiro, com carga de 200 horas entre aulas te\u00f3ricas e pr\u00e1ticas, e todos foram aprovados nos exames. Ap\u00f3s a conclus\u00e3o, receberam o porte de arma concedido pela Pol\u00edcia Federal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Agora, os policiais municipais atuam em seus turnos equipados com pistolas calibre 380, adquiridas pela administra\u00e7\u00e3o municipal. Segundo o prefeito, a medida refor\u00e7a a capacidade de atua\u00e7\u00e3o da corpora\u00e7\u00e3o em ocorr\u00eancias de maior risco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Desde a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o, a Pol\u00edcia Municipal de Ipatinga j\u00e1 registrou n\u00fameros expressivos: 1.355 ocorr\u00eancias atendidas, 191 pris\u00f5es efetuadas com participa\u00e7\u00e3o direta e 25 mandados de pris\u00e3o cumpridos. Al\u00e9m disso, 16 menores infratores foram apreendidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
