O Tribunal do J\u00fari da Comarca de Tarumirim condenou, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (23), dois homens acusados pelo homic\u00eddio de Geraldo de Oliveira Dias, de 63 anos, ocorrido em setembro de 2023, na zona rural de Engenheiro Caldas. A sess\u00e3o, realizada no F\u00f3rum de Tarumirim, teve dura\u00e7\u00e3o de mais de 12 horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Um dos acusados foi sentenciado a 28 anos de pris\u00e3o, enquanto o outro recebeu pena de 21 anos. Ambos devem cumprir a condena\u00e7\u00e3o em regime fechado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De acordo com o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico, o crime foi motivado por um relacionamento extraconjugal e pela promessa de pagamento em dinheiro. As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es apontaram que a esposa de Geraldo, de 52 anos, mantinha um caso com um dos condenados. Juntos, eles planejaram a morte do idoso e contrataram outro homem por R$ 5 mil para executar a a\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No dia do crime, a mulher atraiu o marido at\u00e9 um local afastado. O executor disparou contra Geraldo, que foi atingido por cinco tiros, inclusive pelas costas, sem chance de defesa. Inicialmente, o caso foi registrado como latroc\u00ednio, j\u00e1 que os autores levaram celulares e um cord\u00e3o de ouro da v\u00edtima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ainda naquele dia, os suspeitos foram presos em flagrante durante cerco policial que contou com apoio a\u00e9reo. Eles tentaram fugir a p\u00e9 ap\u00f3s abandonar o carro, mas acabaram capturados. Com eles, a pol\u00edcia apreendeu muni\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A per\u00edcia confirmou tr\u00eas perfura\u00e7\u00f5es no peito, t\u00f3rax e perna da v\u00edtima. Geraldo chegou a ser socorrido para um hospital em Governador Valadares, mas n\u00e3o resistiu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
