A Pol\u00edcia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG) prendeu, nesta segunda-feira (13), um homem de 45 anos que estava foragido da Justi\u00e7a desde julho de 2024. A captura aconteceu na zona rural de Sobr\u00e1lia, no Vale do Rio Doce, com apoio da Pol\u00edcia Militar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De acordo com a Pol\u00edcia Civil, o homem foi condenado por homic\u00eddio cometido em 2011, em Boston, nos Estados Unidos. Na \u00e9poca, ele matou a pr\u00f3pria esposa com golpes de taco de beisebol, motivado por um sentimento de posse sobre a v\u00edtima. Ap\u00f3s o crime, fugiu para o Brasil, deixando o corpo da mulher na casa onde moravam. O corpo foi encontrado 17 dias depois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O caso foi julgado apenas em 2022, e o j\u00fari reconheceu que o crime foi cometido por motivo torpe e sem chance de defesa para a v\u00edtima. O homem foi condenado a 20 anos de pris\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ainda segundo a PCMG, ele chegou a conseguir um alvar\u00e1 de soltura em fevereiro de 2022, mas teve um novo mandado de pris\u00e3o expedido em julho de 2024, permanecendo foragido at\u00e9 a captura desta semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
